Challenge
A manager for a technology company wanted to thank her employees and show appreciation for their hard work throughout the Covid pandemic. She wanted something that employees would appreciate and use, but would also fit within the company budget.
Solution
The manager chose a ceramic bistro mug and mailed them out individually to each employee. The bistro mugs worked well because they are gifts that employees will use and will keep around for a long time.
Result
The manager reported that the gift was very well-received by the employees. The element of surprise was a key component as the employees were not expecting a gift in the mail.
